Hamad International Airport (HIA) is the hub
for the rapidly expanding international Qatar Airways network. Open 24/7 and
located just five km from Doha's city centre, the airport is used by more than
35 regional and international airlines. It is also home to the world’s only
terminal dedicated to Qatar Airways First and Business Class passengers.
About your Job:
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of a team of Safety Supervisors and Agents in implementing and maintaining safety programs of the Hamad International Airport (HIA).
Additionally, part of your role is to
supervise employees engaged in day-to-day routine airport safety operations to
ensure that the airside infrastructure and facilities are in a safe and orderly
condition and compliant with national and ICAO standards.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you must have a
minimum of a Bachelor degree. Completion of Aerodrome Safety Management
courses and other ICAO/ACI/IATA training is preferred.
You must have a good understanding on ICAO
standards and recommended practices (SARPS) and a good understanding of CAA
regulations.
In your previous role, you must have held
supervisory capacity operations or the aerodrome environment, preferably
handling airport safety operations functions. You must hold a Qatar Driving
License or own country license.
